![]() Ps My handsfree kit is factory inbuilt on my Nissan 350z and as mentioned my iphone can see it fine (as my old phone could) - I just need to know how to "authorise this device". Thank you very much for any help and information. Is an update required to get this functionality? I am weary of doing any updates following the negative things I have heard but am willing to give anything a go to get the bluetooth connecting automatically to my handsfree. Is there a way to automatically connect to it similar to "authorise device" as used on most phones? If the Bluetooth device still fails to reconnect, unpair it from your phone and then pair it. Re-enable Bluetooth on the phone and check if the issue is fixed. Unfortunately I have to do this each time I wish to connect to it, even if I leave my bluetooth running on my phone all the time. Return to Settings, search for Bluetooth auto-connect and enable this feature.Make sure that the other device is within the effective Bluetooth range from your smartphone and restart it. ![]() I can connect fine to it manually by going into my Iphone bluetooth settings, see my car's bluetooth listing in my phone and manually click it to connect to it. ![]() I only use my bluetooth with my car's inbuilt handsfree bluetooth kit which I know the Iphone can only currently be used to connect to. On my old phone I could go down my list of previously used bluetooth devices and select "authorise device" meaning each time my phone came in the vicinity or range of that device again it would automatically connect. ![]()
